FAITH FORMATION will continue this weekend. Here is a link to last weekend's class.
AS WE ARE STILL IN THE MIDST OF THE COVID PANDEMIC, WE WILL NOT BE GATHERING IN CLASSES.
We will be offering materials for family discussions on-line as we did last year. These will occur in a series of weekends over the year. Our first series is:

Materials will be sent by e-mail as well as be posted on our webpage by each Friday before the Sunday.
This series will be offered in four-parts with materials provided by September 19, September 26, (A week off- see ASP below) October 10, and October 17.
And, so, let us begin. At a time of your choosing, sit together with parent(s) and young people for the following discussions.

Please discuss as a family:
- Look back on the differences between the start of school for last year and this year... What were they?
- What does it feel like for you when your passion for something fizzles?
- Talk about an "all in" experience that you have had or that you saw in another.

THERE WILL BE NO VIDEO CLASS NEXT WEEKEND. We are encouraging you to attend the Appalachia Service Project meeting and consider participating in it next summer. Learn about the SJ Home Repair Ministry/ Appalachian Service Project! Join! Adults and high-school age youth are invited to attend the 2021-2022 Kick-Off event on 3 October, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Wilde Lake Interfaith Center.
Come to this meeting to learn more about the year of preparations and the incredible service trip in the summer. Meet volunteers, youth and adult, who have enjoyed the trip in the past.
Youth are required to bring a parent. All are required to wear a mask.

All young people entering 10th grade or older are encouraged to enter into preparation for the SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION. A meeting for Parents and young people was held last Saturday morning. Updates are being made to the Confirmation webpage this afternoon and will include a video link to those who missed the meeting.
