As this weekend's Gospel will remind us, our tradition of forty days of prepapration builds upon how Jesus started his ministry with forty days in the desert. Please consider one of our favorie little Lenten video meditations as you consider Jesus' forty days as well as the human challenges of hunger, thirst, and temptations that He faced.
Forty days to remember the Paschal Sacrifice. Forty days to discover His passion calls us to new life. The jubilee is over but mercy's far from gone. In the arms of the Father as the wayward child comes home. How will you spend your forty days?
